I was hoping one of your gentle readers might take up the task. I've got some volunteers working on it for a year and a half now, but might need some more or people with different iPhone skills. I've got a screenshot mockup blueprint, and the API can support it.

I'm thinking of having a paid contest/reward for the development of it, but unless someone has some good iPhone skills, it might not be worth their time. Or someone could just develop one and put it for sale in the store and rake in the profits themselves

Someone with some programming skills should take the open Your Mapper API and build an iPhone app of just Louisville data. Now that would be slick and useful!

You're cracking me up! I don't have an iPhone so I will have to take your word for it. It's very clear after visiting the companies website that they are creating these apps in bulk. They don't care about Louisville.
